The SETI Alliance advocates for reduced barriers to trade in clean energy goods and services, a policy outcome that would reduce greenhouse gas emissions while helping to improve energy access for the world's poorest.
The SETI Alliance engages in international forums on climate change and trade, both of which are relevant to the liberalization of clean energy goods and services. In these forums, the Alliance advocates for reducing barriers to trade in these critical technologies.
The Alliance is currently focusing its efforts on the international negotiations towards an Environmental Goods Agreement (EGA), which were launched in Geneva in July 2014. Fourteen governments are involved in the talks, including the EU, the U.S., China, and Costa Rica. For further information about the negotiations, please click here.
The SETI Alliance is a network of thought leaders on sustainable energy trade policy and business, collaborating on a pro-bono basis.
